Drought, high temperatures, wind: in the summer, the risk of fire in the Var region’s forests is increased.

To avoid any risk for the population and the local fauna and flora, The Var Prefecture publishes a daily map indicating the levels of risk for the different forests. This may result in access limitations. It is important to check the information before any walk to avoid putting yourself in danger.
